New licensing requirements create barriers for startups and small businesses. Companies might focus more on compliance than on creating new ideas.
🌍
Heavy regulation could scare away foreign investors and make it harder for local ICT firms to compete globally.
🎛️

⚖️
The new authority could overstep its bounds or be influenced by political pressures, leading to unfair practices.
💰
Setting up and running the new authority would be expensive, potentially diverting funds from more important ICT development initiatives.
🏢
Small and medium-sized businesses might struggle to meet the new regulatory requirements, reducing competition and innovation in the sector.
